Pakistan pacer Hassan Ali was in the mood for fun on day 2 of the second Test against Sri Lanka being played at SSC ground in Colombo on July 25, 2023, as rain washed out the majority of the day’s play.
Only 10 overs of play was possible during the first session on the second day of the ongoing Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Pakistan leads the two-match series 1-0.
The second Test started yesterday (July 24) in Colombo, where Sri Lanka was bowled out for 166 runs in the first innings. In reply, Pakistan reached 178/2 after 38.3 overs when rain interrupted the proceedings on the second day.
During the rain downpour, the groundstaff had covered the entire playing area in covers and Hassan Ali decided to make the most of it and keep the energy level high of his team.
Ali was caught on camera enjoying the rain and can be seen lying down on the covers full of rainwater. He was seen sliding on the covers and even made the famous Yuzvendra Chahal pose after which he came back to the dressing room.
All of his antics were thoroughly enjoyed by his Pakistan teammates from the dressing room.
"Making the most of the rain delay in Colombo, with @RealHa55an leading the charge," PCB tweeted.
