Legendary former Indian captain MS Dhoni turned 42 on July 7, 2023, and received wishes from all over the globe. The legendary wicketkeeper-batter began his career in international cricket in 2004, but unlike others, he gained a special place in people’s hearts.
In his 15-year-long career, Dhoni took India to greater heights with all three ICC limited-overs trophies – T20 World Cup 2007, 50-over World Cup 2011, and Champions Trophy 2013 – being the only captain to achieve this feat.
MS Dhoni played 90 Tests, scoring 4876 runs with 6 centuries and best score of 224. In 350 ODIs, he slammed 10773 runs with 10 centuries and the best score of 183*, averaging 50.57. In 98 T20Is, Dhoni made 1617 runs with two fifties to his name.

He recently won the IPL 2023 for the Chennai Super Kings, bringing him equal to Mumbai Indians’ Rohit Sharma, as the captain to win the most IPL trophies- 5.
