“Happy birthday Mahi bhai”- Rishabh Pant wishes MS Dhoni by cutting a cake on his behalf

MS Dhoni remains the only captain to win all three white-ball ICC trophies in the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, the ICC World Cup in 2011, and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013. He also led the Indian team to no 1. ranking in Tests for the first time.

Apart from this, MS Dhoni has also won a record-equaling five IPL trophies for Chennai Super Kings and holds the record for most stumpings in ODI cricket.

After accumulating many more accolades in his glittering career, MS Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket in 2020. However, he has continued to play in the IPL, recently winning the IPL 2023 trophy.

On the occasion of Dhoni's birthday, India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant celebrated the special day by cutting a cake on his behalf.

Pant, who is still recovering from his near-fatal car accident, also penned a heartfelt note in an Instagram story.

"An inspiration to so many people across the country. Thanks for everything you have done for Indian cricket. Happy birthday Mahi bhai," Pant said.
