Team India and Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw was in attendance at the 23rd IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi, days after his side's premature exit in the 2023 edition of the IPL. Shaw graced the star-studded event along with his rumored girlfriend Nidhi Tapadia.
It was an entertaining star-studded event at IIFA attended by the likes of Vicky Kaushal, Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Dia Mirza, Sara Ali Khan, and Anil Kapoor among others.
Shaw instantly became a camera favorite as paparazzi were eager to click him with his partner on the red carpet. Photojournalists were queuing to snap a photo of the couple as they posed for the shutterbugs.
However, there was an awkward moment on the red carpet after greetings were exchanged between Shaw and the photographers.
One of the photojournalists called Shaw as "Rishabh bhai," not recognizing he was photographing Shaw. Another member of the media quickly corrected the erroneous journalist, pointing to him that he was not Rishabh but his Delhi Capitals teammate Prithvi Shaw.
