Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw has yet again turned heads with his cryptic post on social media, where he targeted someone close to him for backstabbing him.

Shaw shared a cryptic Instagram story, in which the Mumbai star seemingly takes a dig at some of the people using him for benefits. However, it is unclear to whom he has been directed.

The right-hander’s Instagram story reads: “Some people will only love you, as much as they can use you. Their loyalty ends where the benefits stop.”

Notably, Shaw has been performing consistently in domestic cricket, but he has failed to impress the Indian selectors in recent times. He last played for Team India in May 2021 in a T20I series against Sri Lanka.

However, the Indian batter was part of the national squad for the T20I series against New Zealand at home, but he did not get the opportunity because of team management preferring to open with Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill.

Shaw recently took part in the Delhi Capitals’ (DC) training camp at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata in the presence of DC mentor Sourav Ganguly and assistant coach Praveen Amre.
