ILT20 2023: WATCH – Pollard’s 104-meter six goes out of ground; fan throws the ball back after picking it on streets

It all happened in the penultimate over of MI Emirates’ innings against Desert Vipers.

Mohammad Wasim and skipper Kieron Pollard starred with the bat for MI Emirates, propelling the team’s total to a mammoth 241/3 in 20 overs.

While Waseem slammed 86 off balls with 11 fours and 4 sixes, Pollard played a whirlwind knock of 50 in just 19 balls.

Pollard’s innings was studded with 4 fours and as many sixes. The highlight of his knock was the one maximum that went outside the stadium.

During the penultimate over of Emirates’ innings, Tom Curran bowled a short delivery outside the off-stump and the former West Indies skipper pulled it over deep mid-wicket for a 104-meter six.

The ball landed on the streets, where a person picked it up before he eventually threw it back into the ground.

Before Pollard’s monster hit, MI Emirates batter Dan Mousley also smacked a six out of the stadium onto the streets, where a young fan took the ball and went away.
