Australian speedster Mitchell Starc's words to England captain Jos Buttler while warning him for leaving the crease early during the third and final T20I on Friday (October 14) didn’t go down with the former Indian cricketer and commentator Hemang Badani.

Actually, Starc threatened to run out Buttler at the non-striker's end, but the Aussie pacer left the England captain with just a mere warning, which led to a fiery exchange between the two and brought back the Deepti Sharma-Charlie Dean run-out saga that happened last month at Lord’s.

Well, the stump mic caught Starc saying, "I'm not Deepti, but I won't do it. That doesn't mean you can leave early," as the Australian pacer was referring to the Indian all-rounder Deepti’s legal run out of Dean during an ODI match at Lord’s. To which Buttler replied, saying, "I don't think I did."

Meanwhile, Starc referring to Deepti while warning Buttler didn’t go down well with many Indians fans, who had already slammed the Australian pacer for his remarks, and now Badani gave him a piece of advice while lashing out at the cricketer for his immature words.

Hemang Badani wrote on Twitter: “Grow up Starc. That’s really poor from you. What Deepti did was well within the rules of the game. If you only want to warn the non striker and not get him out that’s fine and your decision to make but you bringing Deepti into this isn’t what the cricket world expects of you.”
