India batter Shubman Gill has raked up his maiden century in the ongoing English County cricket where he is turning out for Glamorgan. He had started off well in his first county stint scoring 92 against Worcestershire and then scoring 22 and 11 against Middlesex.
However, his best batting yet came against Sussex as he managed to move from his overnight score of 91* and completed his century in 123 balls with 12 fours and 2 sixes on day 2 of the clash in County Championship Division Two at County Ground, Hove on Monday (September 27).
Shubman Gill was finally dismissed for 119 runs in 139 balls with 16 fours and 2 sixes to his name as he was caught by Sean Hunt off the bowling of Jack Carson.
Glamorgan Cricket’s official Twitter account shared a video of the moment Shubman Gill reached his milestone with a flick on the leg side and completed two runs.

Shubman Gill is expected to be included in the Indian team for the upcoming three-match ODI series in India against South Africa.
