India vice-captain KL Rahul recently suffered a groin injury which ruled him out of the South Africa T20I series at home and the England tour. It was revealed later that Rahul will travel to Germany for further treatment of his groin injury.
On June 26, 2022, Rahul was snapped at the airport leaving for Germany and was accompanied by girlfriend and actress Athiya Shetty.
The paparazzi snapped Athiya arriving first as the actress was dressed in denim and a cropped sweatshirt look. Soon after, KL Rahul arrived and the cricketer looked smart in a black graphic T-shirt, and beige pants. As the cricketer arrived, Athiya was spotted waiting for him inside.
Both have been dating for a couple of years now. Both have often been spotted together on holidays, outings, and dinner dates. However, nothing has been made official by either of them.
The 30-year-old who sustained a groin injury is scheduled for surgery in Germany. India Today further revealed that Rahul would remain there for about a month and Athiya would be by his side during his recovery.
