Rohit Sharma usually refrains from tweeting much on social media, however, on March 1, 2022, many of his tweets left his fans and even his teammates scratching their heads.
The Mumbai batter is preparing to lead the Indian team for the first time in Test matches as India will face Sri Lanka in the first match of the two-Test series in Mohali from March 4 onwards. Rohit was recently named India’s Test captain as well after he took over from Virat Kohli in ODIs and T20Is.
Rohit led India to a white-wash in the T20I series against New Zealand, West Indies, and Sri Lanka and in the ODI series against West Indies, all at home recently.
However, his teammates R Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal were worried for Rohit Sharma, after he put out some cryptic tweets.
Ashwin said: “Let’s just say there are better appetising options.”
While, Yuzvendra Chahal asked Rohit Sharma what happened, tweeting, “Bhaiya? What’s happening, Sab theek hai na?”
