India all-rounder Akshar Patel got engaged to girlfriend Meha on his 28th birthday. Taking to Instagram on Thursday (January 20), Akshar shared the pictures with his fans.
"Today is the new beginning of our life "Together & Forever". Love you till eternity," the all-rounder wrote while posting the adorable pictures. The couple showed their rings while posing for the camera in a decorated background

The comment section got flooded with congratulatory messages from Akshar's teammates. Suryakumar Yadav joked that Akshar picked his birthday for engagement so he doesn't forget the date in the future.
"Baaapu khel Gaya bhai aaj hi din yaad rahega ache se (Well played Baapu, you will remember this day very well)," wrote Suryakumar in the comments.
