Former India head coach Ravi Shastri welcomed the year 2022 at a party where he shook a leg with Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh on the famous Hindi song 'Hum Bane Tum Bane'. Ex-India seamer Balwinder Singh Sandhu also joined them as seen in a clip posted by Shastri.

Ranveer, who's playing Kapil Dev, is the lead actor in the movie '83', which is based on India's 1983 World Cup victory. Shastri was also part of the World Cup-winning squad and his role in the movie is played by Dhairya Karwa.

Recently, Ranveer and former India batter Krishnamachari Srikkanth danced together on the latest hit song by Harrdy Sandhu, 'Bijlee Bijlee'. The role of Srikkanth in the movie 83 is played by south Indian movie star Jiiva, who is making his Bollywood debut.
