Ashes 2021-22: Jaffer trolls Vaughan over his '92 all-out India' tweet from 2019 after England’s 68 all-out at MCG

Wasim Jaffer and Michael Vaughan often engage in funny banter on social media.

England got bowled out for 68 in the last innings at MCG | GettyFormer India opener Wasim Jaffer and ex-England skipper Michael Vaughan often engage in banter on social media. They pull each other’s legs at the expense of their team's performance.

On Tuesday (December 28), Jaffer got the opportunity to troll Vaughan after England suffered a humiliating innings and 14-run defeat in the third Ashes Test at MCG.

Resuming their second innings at 31/4 on Day 3, England’s middle and lower order capitulated as Australia’s debutant fast bowler Scott Boland wreaked havoc, taking six wickets to help bundle out the visitors for a paltry 68.

With England’s innings folding under the score of 100, Jaffer dug out an old tweet from Vaughan about India's performance during the New Zealand tour back in 2019.

Team India were bowled out for 92 in the fourth ODI on that tour and Vaughan had tweeted: “92 all out India ... Can’t believe any team would get bowled out for under a 100 these days !!!!!!”

Jaffer roasted Vaughan by posting a video, where he could be seen showing the former England captain’s old tweet and ending the clip with a wink and a thumbs up.

"England 68 all out," he captioned the video.

Wasim Jaffer’s hilarious video also impressed Michael Vaughan as the latter responded by saying: "Very good Wasim".

Australia needed just a draw in the Boxing Day Test to retain the urn but with this thumping victory, they have now taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match Ashes series.
