New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult has often turned the game for his team with the ball, but this time he became a hero with the bat. He hit a last-ball six for Northern Knights in a Super Smash match against Canterbury.
Batting first, Canterbury got all-out on 107 runs and it was Joe Walker for Northern Knights who bagged three wickets, and Boult got two dismissals. Despite a low score, it wasn't an easy chase for the Jeet Raval-led Knights.

Northern Knights got off to a good start with the openers, Katene Clarke and Tim Seifert posting a partnership of 46 runs for the first wicket. But they lost 8 wickets to reach the three-figure on the scoreboard.
It was Boult who came out to bat at number ten and scored 7 runs in 2 balls, including a last-ball six to seal the match for his team. Northern Knights won the match by 1 wicket and their dressing room was ecstatic after the winning hit.
