Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Ramiz Raja responded to the jibe by Pakistan great Wasim Akram during a press conference. Akram had said that 'PCB is Ramiz' when questioned about the changes in the recent Pakistan Super League (PSL) drafts.

Players were demoted and promoted in the PSL drafts, which have three categories – Diamond, Gold, and Silver. Kamran Akmal had refused to play the PSL after being demoted to the lowest category.

When a reporter asked Akram who is responsible for the changes in PSL drafts, Akram clarified that it is the PCB and not the respective franchises who make the call to put players in different categories.

"We have heard that Ramiz Raja made the call to promote/demote players," asked a reporter. To which, Akram replied, "I don't know, probably. Well, PCB is Ramiz, so probably yes."

Ramiz reacted to the dig by Akram in a press conference when a reporter brought it up. "There is no two ways about it. What other question do you have?", he said.
