India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan turned 36 on Sunday (December 5) and the likes of Yuvraj Singh, Rishabh Pant, Suresh Raina and others wished him on his birthday through social media. Shikhar had recently played the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) for Delhi Capitals (DC), but now he has been released from the franchise.

The southpaw wasn't part of Team India's T20 World Cup 2021 squad and he missed out on the tournament. Shikhar last played for India in July, when he led the team on the tour of Sri Lanka while the Test side was in England.

Shikhar can be seen with a beaming face always and he has very good friends in the Indian cricket fraternity. He keeps the dressing room environment healthy with his lively and fun character, as admitted by his teammates.
