India registered a memorable win against England at Lord's in the second Test as the fast bowlers bowled out the hosts for 120 runs in the second innings to win the match by 151 runs. But before the outstanding bowling display, it was the partnership between Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami which turned the game.

When England were looking to bowl out India on a low score after Rishabh Pant's wicket on Day 5, Bumrah and Shami put up an unbeaten partnership of 89 runs for the ninth wicket and stunned the hosts.

India captain Virat Kohli decided to declare the innings after they took a lead of 271 runs. He gave Indian bowlers 60 overs to take down England's batting unit and secure a victory to go 1-0 up in the five-match series.

Fielding coach R Sridhar and off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin spoke about the decisive partnership between Bumrah and Shami in the latter's YouTube channel.

"When we realised they were going to come in at lunch, Virat came and said: Everyone of us is going down to cheer and welcome the boys. The noise has to be so huge that it has to reverberate in Lord's for years to come," Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) quoted R Sridhar as saying on Ashwin's YouTube show.

Shami scored unbeaten 56 runs off 70 deliveries while Bumrah remained not-out on 34 runs with three boundaries. India and England will clash at Headingley for the third Test match, starting on Wednesday (August 25).
