The Indian cricket fraternity wishes the country on its 75th Independence day.

The Indian tricolor being unfurled at Red Fort in New Delhi by PM Narendra Modi | TwitterAs the whole of India celebrates its 75th Independence Day on August 15, 2021, with pride and honor, the Indian cricket fraternity including the likes of Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Anil Kumble, and others posted wishes for the nation.

For the dilettante, the nation has completed 74 years of Independence this year. It is a landmark occasion in the history of India which gained independence in 1947 from the British Empire. The flag hoisting ceremony among other rituals events is taking place at New Delhi's historic Red Fort.

Usually, on Independence Day, flag-hosting ceremonies are conducted in schools, offices, and other places. However, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has restricted the celebrations this year with safety being the top-most priority.

Celebrating this amazing occasion, the Indian cricket fraternity took to Twitter to wish Indians on this auspicious day.
