Australia batsman Steve Smith made his international cricket debut in a T20I match against Pakistan. He later made his Test debut against the same opposition at Lord's in 2010.
On Tuesday (July 13), Delhi Capitals (DC) posted a throwback picture of Smith, who started his career as a leg-spinner, on the occasion of 10 years of his Test career.
"#OnThisDay in 2010, a 21-year-old leg-spinner @steve_smith49 made his Test debut against Pakistan at Lord's ???? The rest is legendary ???????? #YehHaiNayiDilli," wrote DC on Instagram.

Smith responded to the post and jokingly told the Capitals not to make him feel old by reminding him of his Test debut a decade back. "Stop making me feel so old @delhicapitals ????," he replied.
The 32-year-old has come a long way in 10 years from being a leg-spinner to number 2 batsman in ICC Test Rankings currently. He has played 77 Test matches for Australia and scored 7540 runs at an average of 61.80.
Smith doesn't bowl much now and he has only 17 wickets in Test cricket. But with the bat, he has listed himself among the best batters of the current generation. He has 27 Test hundreds and 31 half-centuries to his name.
