Shikhar Dhawan is gearing up for the Sri Lanka tour where he will be leading the Indian side for the limited-overs series. He shared a post-workout picture and received a comment from his friend and teammate Rohit Sharma.

"My sweat shines brighter than my diamonds ????????", wrote Dhawan while posting the photo. Rohit, who is currently on England tour, wrote "Ohh kii gal..." on the post.

Rohit will be seen in action during the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final. He has been included in the playing eleven for the match against New Zealand.

On the other hand, Dhawan will be leading Team India in a three-match ODI and as many T20Is, starting in July. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be the vice-captain of the team.

There are some new faces in the side like Devdutt Padikkal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Chetan Sakariya for the Sri Lanka tour. As per reports, Team India wanted to play warm-up matches ahead of the series as the players have not played any cricket after IPL 2021 got postponed. But due to COVID-19 protocols, BCCI could only agree to an intra-squad match.
