Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan's latest clip in which he's humming the original track of a Pakistani drama serial is going viral on social media. It was not known to many that the leg-spinner has a very good voice for singing.
Rashid recorded himself singing the song "Mere paas tum ho" in the viral video. Sports Anchor, Ahmer Najeeb Satti, shared the video on Twitter and he tagged the lead actor of the drama serial Humayun Saeed in his post, who also lauded his voice.
The 22-year-old has represented Lahore Qalandars in a couple of matches of the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The franchise confirmed Rashid is available for the remainder of the PSL that will be played in Abu Dhabi.
Recently, Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has made a few changes in its leadership across formats. However, Rashid will remain the vice-captain of the T20I team while the decision to appoint the new captain will be taken soon.
ACB has sacked Asghar Afghan from captaincy and the decision was taken based on an investigation conducted by the board's Investigative Committee. They were not happy with some of his decisions as the captain of the team resulted in Afghanistan’s loss to Zimbabwe in the first Test of the series in March.
