West Indies cricketer and Punjab Kings (PBKS) batsman Nicholas Pooran tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Alyssa Miguel in a wedding ceremony. The couple has been dating since 2014 and they got engaged last year in November.
Pooran shared a picture with his wife on Instagram and wrote that there's nothing better than having Alyssa in his life. "Jesus has blessed me with many things in this life. None greater than having you in my life @kathrina_miguel . Welcoming Mr. and Mrs. Pooran ❤️," he wrote.
On the occasion of Pooran's marriage, the official Twitter handle of PBKS took to Twitter and congratulated the couple on their wedding.
"Many congratulations on the start of this beautiful partnership. ???? Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness ❤️ @nicholas_47," wrote Punjab Kings.
Pooran has been part of the Punjab franchise since the IPL 2019. After the first phase of IPL 2021, he has played overall 28 matches and scored 549 runs with an average of 24.95.
The southpaw has huge potential with the bat but his performance in the now-suspended IPL 14 was disappointing, to say the least. He got dismissed on four ducks in six innings and could only score a total of 28 runs.
