As India is battling a severe health crisis caused by the second COVID-19 wave, Pandya brothers are donating oxygen concentrators to help the needy.

Taking to Twitter, Krunal on Monday (May 24) wrote: “This new batch of Oxygen Concentrators are being dispatched to Covid centres with prayers in our hearts for everyones speedy recovery.”
Quoting his elder sibling’s tweet, Hardik Pandya wrote: “We’re in the middle of a tough battle that we can win by working together.”
Earlier this month, all-rounder Hardik Pandya had announced that his entire family will aid India’s COVID-19 fight, donating 200 oxygen concentrators to help the rural areas of the country.
Pandya brothers were playing for Mumbai Indians (MI) before the deadly pandemic forced the suspension of the IPL 2021 after 29 games. The 14th edition of IPL was indefinitely postponed on May 4 after multiple COVID-19 cases were reported in the bio-bubbles of various franchises.
India is still reporting over 2 lakh COVID-19 cases, thousands of fatalities on a daily basis and the health infrastructure is struggling to cope with the crisis, failing to provide oxygen and crucial medicines to the infected patients.
Earlier, the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Shikhar Dhawan, among other cricketers had extended their support to help the country’s battle against COVID-19.
