South Africa pacer Dale Steyn on Saturday (May 15) called the six by Sreesanth off former Proteas speedster Andre Nel 'legendary'. His celebration after the six is what made the hit memorable.

A tweet from ESPNcricinfo asked cricket fans to name a batsman and their one shot which gives 'chills' every time they watch it. Steyn responded to the post and named Sreesanth.

"Sreesanth and his slog off Andre Nel for 6 with the swinging bat celebration. Legendary," he wrote.

The incident occurred when India was on South Africa tour in 2007. During the first Test match in Johannesburg, Nel bowled a bouncer and passed a few words to Sreesanth which triggered the latter. As per the then commentator, Ravi Shastri, Nel said, "show me the heart".

On the next ball, Sreesanth stepped out and hit Nel’s delivery for a six. The six was followed by a dance by the Kerala cricketer on the other end, right in front of the bowler's eyes.

Not only Sreesanth's dance, but it was also his performance with the ball which is remembered by the fans. India had defeated South Africa by 123 runs and he had picked up 8 wickets in the match, which included a fifer.
