Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins is all set to embrace fatherhood, as the speedster’s fiancée Becky Boston announced her pregnancy while confirming their child in the coming spring this year.
Cummins and Becky were in a relationship for a long time before announcing their engagement last year in February and now the couple is expecting their first child together this spring.
Recently, Becky took to Instagram to announce that she was pregnant with a photo of her holding her growing baby bump at the beach. Following the announcement, the bride-to-be has been constantly expressing joy with series of pictures on social media.
Becky also said they are excited to meet Cummins who is currently quarantining in the Maldives after coming from COVID-19 hit India before returning home. He was played for the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2021 before it got postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis.
In the pictures shared by Cummins’ fiancée, the joy and jubilation of becoming a mother can be truly seen on her face as she captioned the post by saying: “I can’t hide this happiness any longer!! ☺️Baby Boston Cummins will be joining us in Spring ???? we are SO excited to meet you!!! ???????? @patcummins30”
As on Sunday, May 9, the world celebrated ‘Mother’s Day, Becky also posted a story on her official Instagram account where she struck a pose with her baby bump.
She captioned the Instagram story, “First Mother’s Day with my mini bump.”
Meanwhile, Cummins’ IPL side KKR took to Twitter to congratulate the couple on the occasion of Mother's Day.
KKR tweeted, “What a fantastic piece of news on #MothersDay.”
On the other hand, Cummins is also excited for the little one to arrive.
He was quoted as saying by the Sydney Morning Herald: “We're happy and healthy and we'll get married when we can, but we've got a little one on the way and I'm delighted, I'm pumped.”
The Aussie pacer signed off by saying, “We're moving and Becky is doing a brilliant job of organizing things. Hopefully, it's all sorted by the time I get home.”
