India captain Virat Kohli has started working to fight COVID-19 and support the needy people after the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) got suspended on May 4. Kohli, who was leading Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the tournament, met Yuva Sena member Rahul Kanal in Mumbai.
Kohli has proposed his plans on the behalf of his foundation which is led by him and his wife Anushka Sharma. Rahul shared pictures with the India skipper on his Twitter account.

"Meeting our Captain...Respect and love for the movement he has started working on for COVID relief... No words just Respect and Prayers for all his efforts !!! @imVkohli ????," he wrote lauding Kohli's commitment.
Mumbai is among the cities which saw a huge surge in COVID-19 cases. However, the city has shown a steady decline in the last few days.
The ongoing season of Indian Premier League had to be postponed after the bio-bubble of multiple franchises got breached by Coronavirus. Kohli-led RCB were at number 3 position with 5 wins in 7 matches before the decision to suspend the tournament was made.
