Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh pulled his friend and ex-England batsman Kevin Pietersen's leg over a tweet on COVID-19. Pietersen questioned the people who publicly share the news of them testing positive for Coronavirus.
Surprisingly, Pietersen's tweet came on the day when Indian cricket great Sachin Tendulkar announced he has caught COVID-19. Yuvraj was quick to respond to the tweet and he jokingly asked why Pietersen posted it today, hinting at Tendulkar's COVID-19 news.
"Can someone please tell me, why you need to announce it to the world, that you have Covid?!", Pietersen tweeted. "And how come you thought of this today and not before?", replied Yuvraj.

Yuvraj saw the negative reaction to Pietersen's post and he clarified that it was just a joke from his side. "Haha just pulling you leg bud!", he added another tweet.
Pietersen had no idea Tendulkar has caught COVID-19 and he said sorry to the cricket legend. "Just seen Sachin has it! Oops! Sorry @sachin_rt, get better soon buddy!", his tweet read.
Tendulkar had tweeted the news on his official Twitter account. He was part of the Road Safety World Series 2021 recently, which his side India Legends won. Even Yuvraj and Pietersen were playing the tournament.
