India’s star speedster Mohammad Shami was elated as his younger brother Mohammed Kaif has finally made his List-A debut for Bengal in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021 on Saturday (February 27).
The bowling all-rounder was included in the Bengal's playing XI for their Vijay Hazare Trophy clash against Jammu and Kashmir at the Videocon Academy Ground in Kolkata.
Overjoyed with his brother’s Vijay Hazare Trophy debut, Shami took to Twitter to express his happiness and motivated Kaif to keep striving hard to reach the ultimate dream.

Kaif was also named in the Bengal squad for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy last month. The bowler has played a few club matches before representing the senior Bengal side.
Noteworthy, Shami is currently recovering from the forearm injury that he suffered during India’s recent tour of Australia in the Adelaide Test.
