England all-rounder Tom Curran is super excited to play under 'one of the greatest', Ricky Ponting for the Delhi Capitals (DC) in IPL 2021.

The older Curran brother had played for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in IPL 2020 but could only produce some not-so-impressive performances in the season. He scored 83 runs and picked just 3 wickets in 5 matches and was released before the IPL 2021 auction.

He then was bought by DC for a whopping Rs. 5.25 crores for the IPL 2021 season. The 25-year-old has shared his excitement to join the runners-up of IPL 2020 and be among some amazing players in the squad on social media.

Along with the players, Tom is super excited to be coached by one of Australia's greatest captains, Ricky Ponting, who is the head coach of DC.
