Former India batsman Wasim Jaffer shut down a troll after he questioned him about his cricket career. Jaffer had posted a joke after India won another Test series in Australia.

Last time, when India had defeated Australia in 2018-19, it was said that the home side wasn't at full strength in absence of Steve Smith and David Warner, who were banned for a year after ball-tampering controversy.

But in their recent Border-Gavaskar Trophy win, India defeated Australia in presence of their key players. "So what's gonna be the excuse this time? Ponting, McGrath, and Warne weren't playing? ???? #AUSvsIND", posted Jaffer after India's series win by 2-1.

A Twitter user replied to his tweet and tried to be cheeky. The troll tried to disrespect the ex-India cricketer and asked how many Tests he has played for India.

Jaffer won the hearts of his fans with a simple response. "I might have played just 31 tests my friend, but when I see the Indian team play I feel like I'm playing with them. And I'm sure a billion+ people feel the same. ????????", he responded.

The Mumbai batsman played 31 Tests for India and 2 ODI matches. He has close to 20,000 runs in first-class cricket. The 42-year-old played most of his cricket at the domestic level for Mumbai, before moving to Vidarbha in 2015 for five years.
