New Zealand pacer Neil Wagner moved to number two spot in the ICC Test Rankings for bowlers. Wagner, with 849 rating points, left England's Stuart Broad behind, who has 845 rating points.
ICC's official account shared the ranking on Instagram and it got a comment from Broad. The Englishman jokingly asked Wagner to 'take it easy'. The Kiwi bowler is behind Australia's Pat Cummins (904 ratings) in the Test rankings.
"Neil Wagner moves up to No.2 ???? Jason Holder slips two spots to No.7 The latest MRF Tyres ICC Test Rankings for bowlers," the official ICC Instagram account wrote.
Tagging Wagner in the comments, Broad left a reply which read, "Take it easy."The 34-year-old picked six wickets in the first Test against West Indies. His figures in the first innings were 2/33, followed by 4/66 in the second innings. In 49 Tests, Wagner has bagged 212 wickets with an average of 26.31 and a strike-rate of 51.4.
