Virat Kohli became just the second captain after Faf du Plessis to record a Test series win, ODI series win and T20I series win in Australia on Sunday (December 6) after Team India defeated the hosts by six wickets in Sydney to go 2-0 up in the three-match series.
Australia had set India 195 to win, which was a testing target even on a flat Sydney pitch, but Team India chased down the target in the final over with Hardik Pandya smashing debutant Daniel Sams for two sixes to finish the game. India had won the 1st T20I at Canberra by 11 runs.
India will take a lot of heart from the fact that they have overcomed the disappointment of the 2-1 ODI series loss with a convincing T20I series victory ahead of the all-important Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which starts from December 17 in Adelaide.
