Lahore Qalandars' Mohammad Hafeez took a loo break during the match against Peshawar Zalmi in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 playoffs. Opposition wicket-keeper Imam-ul-Haq left commentator Ramiz Raja in splits when he revealed Hafeez was waiting for the break from two overs.
During the time-out, Ramiz joined the group huddle of Peshawar’s Wahab Riaz, Imam, and Shoaib Malik through spider-cam. He began by asking what the trio is discussing? To which Riaz and Malik jokingly said, “We are just hoping that Imam becomes a better wicketkeeper.”
Further in the chat, when Ramiz asked if they could time-out Hafeez, Imam responded, “For two consecutive overs, Hafeez has been complaining about how he wants to go to the loo."
Hafeez turned out to be the game-changer for his side by scoring an unbeaten 74 runs in 46 deliveries while chasing 171. They won the match by 5 wickets and six deliveries left.
Batting first, Peshawar scored 170/9 at the end of 20 overs after contribution from Faf du Plessis (31), Shoaib Malik (39), and Hardus Viljoen (37).
