India's head coach Ravi Shastri saluted the greatness of former India cricketer, MS Dhoni, on his retirement. After playing 350 ODIs and 98 T20Is, Dhoni decided to retire from limited-overs cricket on August 15.
Shastri has followed Dhoni's career very closely as a commentator, team director, and coach. His words when the Dhoni had hit World Cup 2011 winning six remains immortal.
BCCI shared a video of Ravi on their official social media account in which the 58-year-old paid tribute to Dhoni. He saluted him for a rich career which was full of milestones.

"An Independence Day sunset ending with a glittering career. One of the true 'Badshah' of the sport. What amazes me about MS was his calmness and his composure and handling extreme pressure and criticism. As a leader and captain, he can sit on Mount Everest with those kinds of achievements.
"Multiple World Cups, Champions Trophy, number one Test team in the world, IPL titles, Champions League, you name it and he has got it. I wish Sakshi, Ziva, MS himself, and his family all the mental peace and happiness in his retirement. Do continue to enthrall us during the IPL MS. I salute you Lieutenant Colonel MS Dhoni," Shastri said in the video.
