The Rajasthan Royals (RR) Twitter account had thrown out a challenge to cricket world and seemingly other IPL franchises as well when they shared a photo of Ben Stokes’ tattoo work on his body. It was on the occasion of World Lion Day on August 10 and RR’s post tied up brilliantly with the theme.
Ben Stokes has a massive tattoo of a Lion family on his back which he got as a 16-year-old to appease his parents after being told that he could get only get a tattoo if it had a meaning. The RR Twitter account posted his pic with the caption reading,” #WorldLionDay Name a better tattoo in cricket, we'll wait. #HallaBol@benstokes38”
While many other users replied with photos of other cricketers with tattoos, another IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) decided to take up RR on their bet and shared a photo of their opener Chris Gayle, who has a massive lion tattoo on his chest.
