Shikhar Dhawan, the Indian opener is one of the jolliest people to be around. He always wears a smile on his face, no matter the situation, and is seen enjoying his time on the field and off the field as well.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, every cricketer is confined to indoors and this has given them a chance to connect with their fans in a more interactive manner and many of the players are doing Q&A sessions on Twitter or Instagram.
Shikhar also decided to get close to his fans and did a Q&A on Twitter recently, where he replied to the queries of his followers who wanted to know him from close quarters.
One of the fans asked about his partnership with Rohit Sharma and Dhawan called his fellow opener his family. “Gharwali baat hai. ek family jaise hai aur bonding hai.. khelte hue alag bonding hoti hai, ek dusre ko bolne ki zarurat nahi hoti. aaknhon aakhon mein isharon mein baatein karte hain,” Dhawan said.
One of the fans asked him “What is the mantra of being Shikhar Dhawan?” and the left-hander mentioned that he is a very positive person and likes to smile a lot.
“Khush rehna chahiye. koi bhi situation ho aapke paas hamesha choice hoti hai to be positive or negative. I think positive and believe in process, to achieve success. Dreaming big is something I do and main bharpoor hu,” Dhawan replied via video.
He also picked Allan Donald as the bowler from the past he would have liked to face. He also mentioned that Rohit Sharma is his son Zoraver’s favorite cricketer.
