Dwayne Bravo posts teaser of the 'Mahi song'; reveals the release date

Bravo is paying tribute to Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni.

West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, who has delivered hit songs in past, is coming up with another song and this time for his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni.

The tribute song to Dhoni, named 'Mahi song' is written and composed by Bravo himself and he had already let fans know about it in April.

Bravo is going to release the song on Dhoni's birthday, July 7. Sharing the update with fans, he wrote, "Just to keep my fans updated on @mahi7781 song!! #7 as you'll requested the plan is to release this song on his birthday!!".

He added that there will be a dance after Dhoni's iconic 'Helicopter Shot' too. "Also we have a new dance!! It's called the Helicopter ?? pls tag me your version of the helicopter ?? dance and I will pick out the best dance and make it the official Dance for MS!! (sic)."

The CSK cricketer than shared a new teaser of the song on social media. 

In a chat with Cricbuzz, Bravo had said the song is going to be a tribute to Dhoni as he is coming to an end of his career. 

"I want to do something for him. He is coming to the end of his career. He had a great career. He had a great impact on my personal career and also so many other cricketers.

"You listen to interviews from other cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Hardik (Pandya) and even Virat (Kohli), they all praise him where their careers are concerned. He gave so many cricketers opportunities. He also won titles for the country.

"I wanted to do something special for him. I named the song No. 7. It's his number. It's a special number for him."
