India spinner R Ashwin still gets questions regarding his act last year in Indian Premier League (IPL) when he mankaded Jos Buttler in a match between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Not going against cricketing rules, Ashwin decided to run out Buttler who was backing up too far outside the crease. Mankading brought the then KXIP captain under criticism and some felt it was against the spirit of cricket.

Former Australia pacer Glenn McGrath was recently asked by ESPNCricinfo if he would try to Mankad a batsman in a World Cup final when opposition needs two runs with one wicket in hand, his reply was a 'No'.

A Twitter user tagged Ashwin in the post as if he was taunting him for the action. To which, Ashwin responded, "Dear sir, Glen McGrath is one of the greatest bowlers to have played the game and I greatly respect his answer for the question but to tell me that it’s the only right answer is wrong on your part."
