Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen gave his buddy from Pakistan Ahmad Shahzad a real hard time on Instagram live. The two interacted in front of their fans and Pietersen was giving Shahzad some low blows.

Shahzad was trying to tell Pietersen about himself and where he is right now. But Pietersen couldn't get him because the Pakistan cricketer was talking too much off point.

"You're talking so much nonsense, it actually goes from one ear to other ear. You're the same in the dressing room! You ramble too much!", said Pietersen after which Shahzad told him to listen carefully.

The fun didn't stop there. Pietersen later asked him about the poor form. Shahzad scored 61 runs in seven games playing for Quetta Gladiators in PSL 2020. The Englishman asked him, “I just wanna hammer you about your batting. Why are you not scoring runs?”.

To which, Shahzad started explaining, “Well, I have tried my best in this IPL [PSL]. I have been working really hard. Sometimes you know as a cricketer you are trying everything but it’s not coming. You cannot help it. You still have to believe in yourself whenever you go.”

The Pakistan cricketer mistakenly said IPL instead of PSL. Lucky for him Pietersen didn't point it out and pulled his leg. But he was still wasn't convinced with the answer. 

KP told him to not respond like it's an interaction with a journalist. “Shezzy (Shahzad), I am not a journalist. I am your buddy so don’t talk to me like you are in a f**king press conference, okay? Why are you not scoring runs?”.

Shahzad had a laugh but then gave him a clear answer, “You want a clear answer? I was playing (batting) No.3 and I tried but it was not helping me. It was my first time that I played the entire tournament at No.3. I never complained. I was doing my best, I tried my best but it was not coming.”

Well, it didn't feel like Pietersen would stop roasting him. The ex-cricketer then took another jibe at his poor form and said, “So you don’t wanna bat No.1, you can’t bat 2, you can’t bat three, you can’t bat 4, you can’t bat 5. I think you must go and bat at 13. Go and bat 13 for Quetta Gladiators next season… No.13 for the third team, not even for the first team. You are gonna carry drinks."
