Amid the crisis, some of the English cricketers have found a way to beat the boredom. Recently, speedster Mark Wood took the ‘sexy kitten challenge’ after being persuaded by teammate Joe Denly.

Wood shared a video on Instagram in which he can be seen flaunting his moves and describing it as ‘mantis’, ‘starfish’ and ‘tiramisu’. He then performed ‘beef toe’ step with a roll across the grass.

The fast bowler also spoke to the camera and said, “Hi everyone, hope you’re well, hope you’re looking after each other. Joe Denly challenged me to do a dance video. Well, Joe, I have done it. My challenge is to you at home now to have a go at your own dance moves or you can even try mine – see if you can do it.”

Apart from Denly, he forwarded the challenge to fellow England paceman Liam Plunkett and the latter didn’t take time in accepting it.

Plunkett posted a video flaunting his gymnastic skills and twirling a red ribbon. He captioned the clip and wrote, “Challenge Accepted. @markwood here’s some chariots of fire for your sexy kitten. An old school response to your new school of dance.”

Plunkett also nominated Jason Roy, David Willey and Chris Woakes for the challenge.
