Coronavirus has claimed its first life in South Africa.

AB de Villiers has urged the people around the world to play their part and help to beat the Coronavirus pandemic.

Coronavirus has affected close to 6 lakh people worldwide and its spread needs to be curbed in order to keep the situation under control. The South African nation lost their first life because of COVID-19 on March 28.

South African cricketer AB de Villiers has come out on social media and asked the people around the world to contribute to the fight against the virus by doing simple things like washing hands. He posted a video on Instagram urging the people to stay safe.

He captioned the video, “Tough times! Stay safe everyone. Please stay at home, wash your hands regularly and look after each other. I’ve always been a believer of trying to see the glass half full, no matter how difficult it can be sometimes, it’s good for your mind and it can make all the difference. Stay strong people.
