With the rapidly increasing novel Coronavirus cases, the world has come to a virtual standstill. People have been told to practice social distancing as the pandemic has claimed more than 24,000 lives and infected over 532,000 globally as of March 27.
With most countries going into lockdown, closing borders and issuing travel restrictions to contain the spread of virus, cricket has also come to a grinding halt.
Amid the crisis, Former England skipper Kevin Pietersen and India opener Rohit Sharma had a long interaction on Instagram, conversing all things related to cricket, life and how they are dealing with the complete lockdown.
Even the likes of AB de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal were seen commenting during the live session and all four had good banter.
However, the one particular moment that hogged the limelight was when Pietersen asked Rohit: “Who do you think is hating this (lockdown) the most in the Indian team?”
In reply, Rohit said: “Guys who are single. They must be dying to go out. All these guys posting pictures, selfies and all that. I think make out from all that these guys are fried, they want to get out.”
Rohit’s hilarious reply left Pietersen and the fans following the live session in splits.
