At present, India has tested more than 120 positive cases for COVID-19 and recorded three deaths due to the pandemic, which has claimed over 6,500 lives globally while infecting close to 1,70,000.

The crisis has also hit the cricketing world as most of the tournaments have been either cancelled or rescheduled. As the players have been forced to sit at home, they are finding ways to keep themselves occupied.

Veteran India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh on Tuesday (March 17) joined a bandwagon of cricketers to spread awareness among people about this deadly disease. But Harbhajan made sure he mixes up some humour in his message.

Taking to Instagram, the Turbanator shared a story in which he can be seen avoid shaking hands with Preity Zinta while former India skipper MS Dhoni can be seen shaking hands with the Kings XI Punjab co-owner but by sporting his keeping gloves.

“One simple step to tackle #Coronavirus,” Harbhajan wrote in the caption.

Meanwhile, the BCCI has rescheduled the start of IPL 2020 from March 29 to April 15 in wake of the Coronavirus fears. Harbhajan will now be seen in action during the 13th edition of Indian Premier League, donning the Chennai Super Kings jersey.
