Shoaib Akhtar was one of the most interesting characters in the field of cricket when he was playing for Pakistan. He was aggressive and loved having tiffs with players on the pitch thanks to his intimidatory bowling which was a combination of pace and antics from his side.

After retiring from the game in 2011, Akhtar has gone onto gain fandom on YouTube thanks to his immensely popular channel on the site which has over 1.78 million subscribers. His honest reviews of the Pakistani team’s performances and criticism of the players have brought him fans from not only Pakistan but also other countries as well.

Recently, he had out of commission fast bowler Hassan Ali as the guest along with an American girl on his show. Gillian Rhodes spoke amazingly fluent Urdu with both Shoaib and Hassan, but the fun part began when Akhtar asked her to interview Hassan in English, a language in which he visibly struggled to be fluent in.

Hassan tried his best to answer Gillian’s questions in the best English he could, but Akhtar kept prodding him to be fluent and hilarity ensued. They spoke about Hassan’s trademark celebration, his dance moves, and other things, while the fast bowler valiantly tried to have a conversation in English. It was all done in jest and for fun and all three people were seen having a hearty laugh.

Then the conversation moved to Hassan’s battles with injuries and his current break from cricket.
