Indian cricketer KL Rahul gave the men-in-blue fans a mini-heart attack during the first T20I against West Indies when his silly throw had almost denied India a wicket.
The incident happened in the fourth over of West Indies innings who were batting first after winning the toss. When Khaleel Ahmed bowled a delivery on Shai Hope's pads, he flicked it straight in hands of Rahul at short mid-wicket.
A brain fade moment for the West Indies batsmen Hope and Shimron Hetmyer, as they had a mix-up during running between the wickets. There was no run and they realized it later when it was too late.
Rahul quickly collected the ball, but he ended up throwing it over wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik's head. Thankfully, Manish Pandey was covering him and he caught the throw and dislodged the bails.
It was an easy run-out but for a second everyone skipped a heartbeat seeing that kind of throw.
