After troubling the batsmen with his conventional off-spin, Moeen Ali recently gave the glimpse of medium pace bowling skills during a County Championship match.
Playing for Worcestershire against Yorkshire, Moeen was seen bowling medium pace with a little run-up. In fact, he got two wickets in Yorkshire’s first innings. James Logan and Jack Brooks were his two victims.

Moeen Ali also scored 60 runs while batting at No. 3 in Worcestershire’s first innings. Worcestershire made 340 in their first essay, with the biggest contribution coming from Daryl Mitchell (127). Riding on Gary Balance’s unbeaten 189, Yorkshire are currently 417/9 in their first innings.
During the recently concluded five-Test series between England and India, Moeen proved to be the nightmare for visiting batsmen. He took 12 wickets in two Tests against India, including the match-winning nine-wicket haul in the fourth Test at Southampton.
