The ace Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar recently revealed how it felt like to get Sachin Tendulkar's wicket, who is arguably the best batsman Indian cricket has ever produced. Playing for Uttar Pradesh in the 2008-09 season, the right-arm swing bowler lived his dream and dismissed Tendulkar on a duck. He knew the importance of the wicket once the day got over and he went back to his hotel.

Bhuvneshwar shared the memories from that game in the famous show 'Breakfast with Champions', hosted by Gaurav Kapur. The then 19-year-old had seen Sachin for the first time when he stepped out of his hotel room to head towards the stadium.

Bhuvi was admitted he was left blank. "I came out of the room and there was a noise of someone locking the door when I turned back it was Sachin Tendulkar.... Then I went with him inside the lift, kept staring at him, was left blank, he wished me luck before the match," the 28-year-old said.

Talking about his personal life, the pacer revealed his love story on the show. He said no one knew about their relationship for three years and his parents got to know about it from someone else. Bhuvneshwar tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Meerut with fiancee Nupur Nagar last year in December.

The Uttar Pradesh cricketer is known for his calm nature. He looks very silent, but that is not true. Bhuvi was initially very silent in the dressing room but after Ishant Sharma didn't stop pulling his leg, he had to open up. That is why he credited fellow speedster Ishant Sharma for bringing out the best in him inside the dressing room.

"Credit Ishant Sharma, when I came to the team, I did not use to speak to someone, had hesitation, was reserve type. If something important use to happen I used to tell him," Bhuvneshwar explained.
