Afghanistan clinched a thrilling victory against Bangladesh by just 1 run in the final T20I. They had already won the series, but the dead rubber wasn't a boring one. The third T20I turned out to be a nerve wrecking game and Afghanistan were the one who had control in an extremely edgy situation.

Rashid Khan defended 9 runs in the last over to take his team to a memorable win. That ensured a historic clean sweep as well.

Mushfiqur Rahim had turned the match on it's head in the last over, after hammering Karim Janat for 21 runs, but Rashid picked him on the first ball of the final over. The Bangladeshi batsmen couldn't manage a single boundary in the last over. On the last ball, they needed 4 runs with the new batsman, Ariful Haque, on strike, it was a difficult task for the tailender. He did manage to connect the ball well, but not well enough for a six. A superman effort on the boundary by Shafiqullah made sure the batsmen in the middle don't get even three runs to tie the game. He plucked the ball from the air which almost went for a six, then saved a boundary by keeping his balance and staying inside inches inside the ropes.

What followed after the win was hilarious. The Afghani opening partners Mohammad Shahzad and Usman Ghani celebrated the win with the epic 'Nagin dance' on the field. It was too funny for social media users to not talk about it.
