The ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL 2026) has been the topic of discussion since it began. The decision to hold the tournament without crowds in the stadiums and at only two venues due to the ongoing fuel shortage due to West Asia crisis didn’t sit well with the fans.
Previously, in the first game between the Lahore Qalandars and the Hyderabad Kingsmen at Gaddafi Stadium, the ball had turned pink due to color transfer from shirts. The occurrence perplexed players and authorities, gaining significant attention.
Even Kingsmen captain Marnus Labuschagne was stunned by the occurrence and stated that this was the first time he had seen something like this.
And now a similar occurrence happened when Karachi Kings clashed with Lahore Qalandars. In a curious recurrence of an earlier event, dye from players' uniforms allegedly rubbed off onto the white ball, turning it reddish during play.

Karachi Kings defeated Lahore Qalandars by five wickets. Chasing 200, captain David Warner led the innings with an unbeaten 63, and Khushdil Shah added a late flourish with a scorching 44 off just 14 balls.
Earlier, Abdullah Shafique (62) and Fakhar Zaman (61) led the Qalandars to 199/5 after a 110-run stand. Despite the high score, Karachi chased it down with eight balls remaining, keeping their playoff hopes alive.
