New Delhi Tigers’ Himmat Singh effected an amazing run-out to end his team’s Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026 game against Outer Delhi Warriors at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

New Delhi Tigers scored a competitive 156/5 when batting first. Himmat Singh of LSG, who is now leading the Tigers in the DPL 2026, hit a 25-ball 61 at a strike rate of 244.

Laxman delivered a delivery into the blockhole, which Pratham Saluja pushed out to Himmat Singh at mid-off. Himmat Singh failed to pick up the ball initially as the batters rushed for a single to end the game. Himmat kicked the ball in frustration, annoyed with himself for making such a huge mistake.

As fate would have it, he kicked the ball, and it hit the stumps directly, and Pratham was caught short of his crease, resulting in an incredible run-out. Himmat Singh and his teammates couldn't believe what had transpired, as they all cheered while remaining clearly bewildered.

The game was thus ended in a tie, with the Warriors finishing with 155/9. Unfortunately, Himmat Singh's incredible effort was in vain as the New Delhi Tigers lost in the Super Over. Nonetheless, it would go down in history as one of the most bizarre run-outs the game has ever witnessed.
